Wool Blend Herringbone Tweed Blazer

I usually wear a size 12 in a Ralph Lauren blazer. This blazer was actually released in fall of 2024 and I wanted it then but missed it. In spring of 2025 a size 12 bounced back and I snagged it. But it was huge on me. I checked my other Lauren blazers and my 12s fit fine. So a rogue, defective one? Didn't know. Then Nordstrom got these for fall in every size! Trying it again, I ordered a size 8, 10, and 12. Tried all 3 and the 12 was still freakishly large. Like a 16, maybe. But the 10 and 8 showed promise. Brought all three back to the store and a consult with an alterationist, and walked back out wearing a size 8. Not a too-tight-but serviceable 8, but a this-fits-you-perfectly size 8. I'm not recommending that you order three sizes like I did, but fit is way off on this jacket. If you need olive in your wardrobe, and love this, try a different size. Also I wear a 36B/34C bra. If you are bustier, you may need a larger size because you will fill out the front of the jacket more. Good luck. I just got my dream hacking jacket. I'm happy now.

I usually buy Rag and Bone blazers, but I really loved the beautiful green color of this one. Unfortunately I received it today and there are actual sweat stains in the armpits! It was also very wrinkled and the wool fibers were already pilling in several spots. How did Nordstrom think this was okay to send out? I also did notice that the lining was sewn in unevenly. The right side was fine, but the left side had an extra inch or more of fabric which bagged over the wool of the jacket. Very disappointing all the way around.
