Woody Logo Slide Sandal (Women)

I have been eyeing these for a year now. I already have the Gucci slides that I bought two summers ago so I didn’t want to splurge again on a Summer shoe. I got them in size 9 (39 EU)because I always get European shoes in size 9 although I’m an 8.5 in US sizes. They fit like a glove and seem very comfortable for now. I’m currently pregnant and due this Summer so I hope to get a lot of wear of them. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I ordered a Size 38 in White which was the last one in stock... and when it came I was so disappointed! Has the quality gone down or did I get a fake? It did not come with the dust bags, the stitching was horrendous, and compared to the Black slides I own.... the white looked totally "off." The white sandals were way too light, the stitching uneven, the Chloe logo on the band is in the middle (?) instead of more towards the inner part, the round footbed logo is flat (unlike my old one which is puffy with neat even stitches like the stock photo). Even my hubby said they looked like something from Temu! I've always appreciated the quality of Chloe, but is it going down too? The white ones I received were Made in Italy, but the photos on the web say Made in Vietnam (my black ones are made in Vietnam too). So, are the ones made in Italy inferior in quality? I am so confused....I returned right away!
