Wonderful City Tropical Print Maxi Dress

I love this dress for my upcoming trip to Hawaii but if you have a broad chest, size up. I am a 10 or 12 in jeans but have a broad chest. I needed an XL in this dress because I find Farm Rio to run narrow in the ribcage- might be a me thing. Fabric is lovely- thick for Hawaii but I'm always cold so I'm not worried about the thicker fabric. I'll bring a light sweater for my shoulders since the AC is always on over there. If you are in the south, the fabric might be too much. I do love the drop waist and fits great without a bra.

I wanted to love this dress but the sizing is just weird. Extremely small through bust. I tried a Small, my normal size in Farm Rio and could not zip it. Ordered a Medium and it was still small in the bust and just fit oddly and showed too much boob. I am 32D so maybe it would be a better dress for a smaller busted woman. I am returning it.

I always size up in Farm Rio tops/dresses because I find the brand generally runs small up top (I’m a DD/E cup for reference). I ordered about 5 dresses for an upcoming trip and they all fit great except this one. It ran very small in the cup area. It zipped, but the cups rose up to my collarbone (lol). It’s a cute, well made dress that’s perfect for vacation, but I think this one is probably for ladies with a smaller bust.
