Women's Distressed Cotton Tank

I got this shirt because I think it’s a sexy tomboy little number, but upon first look, I knew I’d be returning it. This shirt helped me to finally understand why Boomers hate on their Gen Z and Millennial grandchildren for buying distressed clothing. This shirt looks good new, but I don’t think it’s going to hold up to a wash. That said, if I had all of the money in the world, I’d keep it. Another reviewer mentioned how the cutouts were well-positioned, and I agree. But… at $145 sans tax a pop, I’d rather buy something else.

The idea of this top is super cute, but the execution was off. These are not splits as pictured once you put them on, and then the shirt stretches over your body. These become holes that your nipples come out through. You could wear nipple covers but…meh. Too much exposure not in a cute way nonchalant way, more in a try hard way. It was a note for me and I returned. Also, the description says runs oversized. It does not run oversized. I purchased a size up and it was still more fitted.

I’m short, but found this tank to be a good length. I do not show my stomach (no one would want to see it), so I was afraid this would roll up under shirts, but it does not. It has the right amount of stretch to help it stay put, is very comfortable, and is pretty opaque for a white fabric. The slits make it really fun and modern without actually really showing anything. It’s a great basic that works under just about any top.
