'Ab'Solution High Waist Utility Jeans

I'm 5'4" 135, 65 years old. I purchased the size 8 after reading lots of reviews. I wore them yesterday for the first time. They definitely "grow". Size down. PS: Wash them inside out with dark load before wearing. This dye will transfer. It's so helpful when people take the time to list their height and weight. Useless to most of us when simply stated " True fit."

I've been looking for a pair of new jeans that aren't Skinny, Short, Super Baggy or overly trendy, but are relaxed and different from my typical boot-cut. I've tried several pairs of straight pant, girlfriend, or other from various brands. Most of the time my problem is length or I just don't find them enticing. I wish these were 31" instead of 30" but they're the closest to what I've hoped for and I enjoy wearing them. They're loose but not too baggy, casual but nice, and can be worn around the house or running errands. The right side pocket on my pair sticks out a little, I think due to the material/sewing on the inside, which may be a fluke, but not a big deal. I am glad I got these when they were available! Got in my usual size. The brand can run a little large, but I don't like them tight. This pair could have been smaller but fit fine. For reference, I am in my upper 30s, about 5' 7", 135lb, and have hips.
