Overpowering smell
These jeans fit really well and are super comfortable—BUT their smell is overpowering, like some petroleum product. Even if I was sure the smell would come out in the wash, I don’t really want whatever chemicals are creating that smell anywhere near my skin.

Odd Fit, Odd Wash
Silhouette looks good from the knee up. I’m 5’3 and found that these were not “cropped” enough to look good on a shorter person. Rolling the cuffs up some more does not help-it give the denim an unfortunate 1998 “flood pant” look. The fading on the wash had a weird kind of effect where the seat is the lightest area of the jean. Maybe it was just on the pants I received. I’m taking them to my local Nordstrom to see if they can do something about the length.

Beautiful fit!
First, I didn't smell anything. Second, these are perfect for my large waist. Great design with the wide waistband and also the elastic under the denim waist so they don't look elastic at all. Perfect length too. Nice work here.
