Perfect length!
Perfect length for a short person at 4’11. I also love that the fit is not snug and has a some elastic on inside of waist for stretch & comfort.

Wit and Wisdom has lost their style
I have been a long time fan of wit and wisdom because of the perfect fit waist band. I buy shorts every year and have passed up Paige, Hudson and 7 FAMK jeans because of the fit. I realize this year’s fad are clown legs, cigar legs and if you find a normal straight or boot cut they have the ankles shredded and expose entire ankle on regular inseam girl. Itty Bitty is as advertised. Tight and uncomfortable.
Could they not have offered one single pair for shoppers that don’t spend winter in Florida? Good luck wearing above ankle jeans that show tops of short booties in frigid temps.
Wit and Wisdom was a real solution for women. Now I can’t find one normal pair. Moving on sadly and returning these

Flared!
I usually wear a 6P in Wit and Wisdom but these were too loose. Also, the tag describes it has “Barely Boot,” so they do flare out and are not really “cropped” enough for petites. Folding up the cuff doesn’t work either because of the flare. Returning. If they made these a true straight leg then I could make it work, but it’s a weird length for petites.

My error for not reading the description correctly
The description includes the info that these are nearly boot cut and since I'm not a fan of that profile, I would not have ordered them had I seen it. But when they arrived I tried them on anyway and in addition to the wider, boot cut'ish bottom, the width of the legs in these is quite wide, not at all like the photo. Also the inseam hit me at the top of my foot and to share info here to put that in context, I have a 29" minus inseam and these were spec'd at 27" but seem longer than that for sure. Also, for fit comments, I'm 5'4" / 108'ish # and own other Wit & Wisdom bottoms in straight leg style in size 4 and they fit just right for trimmer legs but ample waist given I am not at the age where gravity is working against me in the middle. But in a size 4 in this one, it was far too big everywhere. Back it goes. I appreciate Nordstrom for making it easy to return them to the local Rack since there is no Nordstrom store in my area.

look nice but stretch out a lot
These jean run large so I sized down. I loved the way these felt and looked when I tried them on, but even the smaller size stretched out quickly, which made them feel heavy and sloppy after only a few hours. I like other Wit jean styles, but I won't buy this one again.
