Westport The Italian Ankle Wide Leg Pants

The pants were fine. I purchased the Irish Coffee color and it's a beautiful dark brown. This is like the longer version of the Kinsale (plus back pockets). The fabric is light weight and would be perfect for warmer days. My waist is about 26.5" and the size 0 fit just slightly loose and sat right under my belly button. I'm 5" and the pants hit just at the ankle making it full length on someone who is on the shorter side. I would have kept these pants if I received a clean pair. The pants I received had oil stains around the back pocket. Seriously though, this isn't the first time I've received worn in items from my purchases at Nordstrom and it's becoming pretty annoying.

I love Frank and Eileen, but this pant is strange...first of all, it is definitely NOT an ankle crop. I'm 5'8" and rarely need pants altered. These were long and broke at the top of my foot and did not have any flare. The pant is almost a tailored fit. The photo on-line doesn't even seem like the same pant. I feel like there was a mistake made somewhere...like they didn't ship what was ordered...The fabric and quality are nice, however, but I am still returning them. Overall, I am disappointed in general at the F&E offering for Anniversary. Very poor showing.

Hmmm, from reading some of the previous reviews it seems that there was a glitch in the system and another style of F&E pants was reviewed under the Westport style. I own these in both the pecan and scarlet colorways and they have a 26.5” inseam. I’m short and on me this is a full length pant with a small break in the line at the top of my shoe and no more. I even asked a stylist to look at these because at this price point I wanted to be sure of the look. That being said I really like the pants as the fabric is a light to medium weight and comfy, has a lovely soft “hand” and the style is crisp and polished. All three of the colors offered here were made specifically for Nordstrom’s and are not available on the F&E website. IMO they are rich and beautiful with a great saturation of color. Bravo to Nordstrom’s for offering coordinating F&E shirts. The front pockets are great and the back pockets are almost faux but I can forgive it for the clean line it offers. The rise could be a bit higher but is otherwise fine.

I love the color and the material but the sizing is off. I’m usually a size 12 but the 10 fit better originally. But after wearing them once I should have went with an 8 because they are baggy now. Also, they are not cropped. I’m 5’8 and need to take off 4 inches to make them cropped. Overall they are cute but size down 2 sizes.
