Perfect Primer Underwire T-Shirt Bra

One of the understood qualifications of a “t-shirt” bra is that it be invisible under t-shirts. I mistakenly assumed that would be the case here, so I was disappointed to see that the decorative ribbing along the cups (why? Why is this necessary?) is really visible through a basic t-shirt. I expect this when buying a cheap Victoria’s Secret bra but not a pricey Wacoal. Who in market research thinks that adding decorative textural finishes to the outer bra cups is a smart move? “Yeah, we’ve got the fit nailed down, let’s add a ribbon and some lace right here so it shows through everything the woman tries to wear.” It’s going back, which is a shame because the fit is nice. Don’t sell me a t-shirt bra that can’t be worn seamlessly under t-shirts.

I have worn Wacoal for years and now find that the same size I have worn for all those years no longer applies to the bras I have recently ordered. Although my old bras still fit amazingly well, the newer ones are totally off in sizing...way too big in the band, forcing me to make returns which i hate doing. I have yet to find a Wacoal bra that fit as well as the discontinued Halo Lace Tee Shirt Bra.

I was fitted for a bra yesterday. Mary F. assisted me. She was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She quickly determined the size, which was not even close to the bra I went in with. Then she selected several and had me try them on. She went back and got more until she was satisfied with the way they fit and I was happy with the look and feel. A friend recommended that I get fitted at Nordstrom and I'm so happy I did. This bra is so comfortable I’ve purchased 3. The fabric is super soft, the band is comfortable and stays in place without digging or rubbing. The straps stay in place and I love the convertible option hook for racer back tops. I wear a 34G and finding comfortable, soft supportive bras is rare. I would highly recommend.
