Bought these for my husband and he likes them. They are made just like the pants with plenty of pockets and soft stretchy material. I got him an xl he weighs 200ish and is 5’11” also the length is like the pictures

This particular pair of shorts are soft made for lounging or out to a casual dinner. They do not look like gum shorts its a great hybrid short.

Bought the longer short. I think it’s call Sunday something or other. Anyway bought a medium and fits me fine. Quality is excellent. Tolerates the washer and dryer no problem. I’ll be wearing the shorts all winter, since I live in Arizona I bought the shorts online, because the assortment in the Scottsdale Fashion Square store is pretty weak.

Perfect fit
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. The photo looks exactly like my husband wearing the shorts size M, body-type (lean and muscular), fit wise (the way the shorts hang). Super comfortable. My husband's favorite color is blue and it's a unique darker shade of blue. I also bought the tapered sweat pants in the same color. He loved those too.
He was excited by the feel, look, and fit, and decided he wanted to keep them as leisure wear vs. gym clothes. In line with this thinking because the pants were tapered he also decided he wouldn't use the sweatpants as an overlayer...over his shorts.
