No width issue with Seaweed/Cannon/Sanded Purple/Volt Vomero 18
I am a 4E wide foot. I purchased the Seaweed/Cannon/Sanded Purple/Volt Vomero 18 and it is thoroughly comfortable. After seeing all of the negative reviews about width, I was prepared for the worst. However, I am completely satisfied with the width. Will not be sending them back. Keeping them.

Wide Nikes
Nike is my preferred shoe brand - only if I can find them in a wide or xtra wide. Because of this rarity, my go to shoe brand is New Balance. But I love these xtra wide Nikes I just purchased!

Narrow Vermeros.
Nike Narrow Vermeros are all too narrow in so called extra wide, including the narrow Plus. They had the Invincibles that were wide and truely wide in the wide width, NOT these. Too bad they discontinued the only really wide shoe they made, now I can't wear any of them!

Not extra wide
Like other reviews have stated, the extra wide is not 4E. The box says “wide” which typically indicates 2E. I even sized a half size up because Nikes are always too narrow, these still don’t fit. Other Nike extra wide shoe boxes say 4E on them, these do not. So if you need 4E these will not fit, don’t chance it. Disappointing that a shoe giant hasn’t figured this out.

Will walk a few more miles
I ordered size 9 wide, right shoe is perfect, comfort and compressibility of the foam is perfect. Not sure about the left shoe. It feels like there is a seam in my sock just under my big toe - but there is not! Nor can I detect any abnormality in the first layer of (removable) foam insole, nor can I feel anything strange by pressing with my finger on the sole of the shoe. So, the verdict is still in the balance. Was wondering whether to return and try 9.5 wide instead although I really wanted to keep the shoes as short as possible. (With old and heavy Rebok DMX I am OK with 8.5 4E extra wide.
