Silver Birch & Peppercorn Large Jar Candle

Gilt Pomander is my ultimate winter candle and thought I'd give this new scent a try since it's on sale. I definitely smell the cardamom that can lend some spice and warmth but I think the main spice contributor is the pink peppercorn. My large jar can fill up an area of about 900 sqft. 4 stars because it's a tad spicy for winter for me. I'm sure it'll be more pronounced when indoor air is drier, as it is in generally in the winter. It is not sharp at all. In fact it's very smooth. I use Voluspa candles exclusively for the clean burn. Packaging is exceptional, as always. Someone mentioned how this is not Branche Vermeil, which was a "cool" scent, and I agree. It looks like Voluspa used the same jar design though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely scent, but way too weak and the wick is too thin for the amount of wax it's suppose to burn. Elegant smell, cozy with a tiny hint of citrus as a surprise. I keep buying voluspa on and off hoping for better burning quality and stronger throw, but will hold off now, due to lack of permeation and candle not burning all wax ( 1/4 left in jar)
