Voile and Lace Midi Dress

I love this dress, I had it in the mini version years ago and wore it all the time. I bought it in the white and it’s definitely see-through. Which is a bummer because they could’ve used just slightly heavier Cotton and it would’ve been way better.. I’m gonna exchange it for another color because it’s a really cute dress and it’s soft and it’s really great for hot weather.. I’m 5‘3“ and it hits me mid calf..

Ok this is the perfect summer lightweight dress! I’m going to live in this the rest of the summer. Love the style and the weight of it, Victorian style slip dress. I’d say it runs a tiny bit on the small side, I sized up to a M and the straps are a bit long but I wanted something loose fitting that I could wear as a dress, as a tunic over jeans, or over a bathing suit. It works for all those things. It comes to just below mid-calf on me. For ref I’m 5’ 7, slender. The only thing I’m not sure about is the fabric quality: it’s very light and I’m concerned that the lace won’t hold up for as much as I want to wear this. It’s VERY sheer so I’m wearing it with some bike shorts under it or it will also look good over some shorts, or flare leg jeans, a very 90’s look which I love. Very feminine but not over the top girly.
