A pure badger shaving brush, ring size M (21 mm), with a plum wood handle and chrome-plated highlights. Plum wood is very hard and robust with intriguing colouring and vivid grain; the surface is oil-sealed to protect against water, leaving an attractive soft gleam. Pure badger hairs are somewhat thicker but stay soft and far more flexible than bristle — the right choice if you want a slightly stronger massage effect while building a solid lather.
