Uptown Merced Platform Sandal

These are so cute and have great arch support but sadly the ankle strap rubs the heel and is very painful. I felt they also ran a bit narrow since my arch was hanging over the edge.

The cutout for the heel and ankle is very uncomfy. Just trying them on hurt from how stiff and rubbing they were. Good support and comfy elsewhere, super bummed these wont work out.

Very cute sandals but the back straps rubs immediately. I only took a few painful steps around my house before deciding to return them. It seems like a design flaw with the back straps.

As other reviewers have noted, this shoe is very heavy and not especially comfortable. The shape of the heel opening combined with the weight of the sole causes the shoe to rub against my ankle. I didn't wear them long enough to get a blister, but I could tell from the red marks on my ankles after only 10 steps or so that it would be really ugly if I tried to walk in these. Back they go.

Cute shoe. Super comfortable footbed, as with all Vionic sandals. I really wanted to love these bc I have another pair of Vionic sandals and I can walk in them all day and never notice. Unfortunately the bottom of the heel strap kept rubbing down on my achilles and was causing redness within 10 minutes of wearing. Definitely a blister in the making.

These are cute and the cushiony bottom is comfortable but the back strap cuts into the heel so badly I could barely walk on first wear, terrible cuts left in my heels.
