Reese Slingback Sandal (Women)

These shoes are fantastic. I usually wear a 12 or a 12w in Vionics. These are great because of the adjustability options. I have high arches and the arch support is fantastic. The shoes are also very cushy in the foot bed, while being supportive at the same time. I want to order another color soon. The itchy side of the velcro is facing up not down, so it doesn’t irritate your skin when you adjust the straps like other Vionic shoes that I have had. Better than expected.

I bought this shoe because I have bought Vionics before and loved them. I am usually an 8 narrow, and this shoe appealed to me because I thought I could use the buckles to adjust the width Turns out the buckles are just for show; the shoes are closed with velcro, something hard to imagine. When I tried them on, they were so big, both in width and length, that my foot just literally swam around in them.

I ordered these in Rose and silver colors. They fit so amazingly. Great arch support and the footbed provides good stability. I just know my feet will be very happy in these. I decided to keep the rose color. I like that the straps are Velcro and adjustable. I probably will get the tan color next. I have plantar and these shoes feel really nice.

Finally, a narrow Vionic sandal in the Reese. I love Vionics for the comfort, but the Medium width is always too wide. They top straps hang off the shoe which ruins the look of the shoe. I often end up having them altered so I can wear them. That makes the already expensive sandal even more expensive. It costs me around $60 to have the straps shortened and add velcro. I have a normal width foot, but as with most comfort shoes, they run wide. The footbed on the Reese slingback in narrow enough for me but they did run a little short. I am usually a 7 1/2 but had to exchange for a 8N. The silver color is nice--it is not too shiny. I hate to complain, but as with other reviewers, the back strap is a little long and I will end up having to shorten it. If you were making such a great sandal, why not an adjustable strap? Please make more narrow sandals. They may not be selling, but nowhere did I see any ads mentioning they they come in narrow. It was a happy accident that I found them.
