Beach Collection Pismo Lace-Up Sneaker

I seriously love these sneakers and thought I found the perfect casual, thrown on, pair. I took them on vacation to the beach right out of the box and they were a dream. But now I've worn them maybe 5 times since my trip and the tread on the bottom is beginning to peel. Strangest thing I've ever seen. I recommend them for comfort but not for quality.

I have purchased vionic shoes in the past and I love them. I really wanted to love the shoes. They are the perfect color (I purchased the cream canvas which is white) however the laces on it are gray and they’re not actually shoelaces they’re more like a stretchy elastic band. I personally do not like the way it looks. They are sewn into the shoe so you cannot replace them with something else otherwise I think these would be a five star shoe. The other thing that I don’t like is the eyelets are a beautiful rose gold and top eyelet is mauve,& doesn’t even have a lace through it. This makes no sense why they put it there. The inside is very soft & they are very comfortable. If you aren’t very detailed oriented, these shoes will be perfect for you. I just couldn’t get over the way that they look.

I ordered the cream color-which is actually a perfect white-for summer. Loved the fit so much I went back and ordered the light gray for this spring. Wore them today without socks all day-no aching feet, no blisters, just a perfect fit and support. I usually wear a 8.5 in Vionics with a sock. Bought an 8 to wear without a sock and glad I did. Love love love these.
