Violet Ends Genderful Fine Fragrance

I hate to rave about fragrances, next thing you know - everyone has the same thing on...but wow. This fragrance is excellent. It’s moody and significant without being overpowering. It is definitely something you smell and remember. The first time I tried it, I couldn’t stop smelling my sleeve. I had to have it. I am so happy with this purchase. I absolutely love it morning and night. It gives me major high end candle vibes; like they’re burning in my closet. Just shared a few sprays with a friend today, she’s sold too. Convinced me to write a review. Still not sure...it’s worth hunting down to snag a sniff.

This is definitely not a blind buy worthy fragrance simply bc it is so unique. Dark and spicy. Definitely unisex. Maybe more feminine? Honestly it’s so complex I can’t tell. Won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but those who do like it will love it. The other reviewer’s description of it smelling like a complex candle is pretty accurate. I love the Slow Burn candle from Boy Smells and I absolutely love this. Try a sample before you buy!

This perfume is complex. It has a very heavy opening, smoke and leather. My husband hates this part of it. But when it settles… It is so sweet, so good. He always tells me how good I smell, and he can’t ever believe it when I tell him it is the same perfume that he hates initially when I spray it! I have learned to love both phases of this fragrance. It is definitely a different, complex fragrance. It does seem like one you would either love, or hate. Would suggest trying it on your skin rather than a blind buy. Bought the travel size, and have plans to buy the full bottle.

Just received my bottle and after showering, generously sprayed all over my body (after reading that this is rather tame). I was swept by the sweetness coming from the floral notes that quickly turned incensey/smoky. Longevity is not so great. After an hour, I have to pick up my collar to sniff this intoxicating scent. After 5 hours, it's almost undetectable. This is great for cool weather. I have a full bottle of Guerlain's Songe d'un Bois d'ete and could hardly wear it because it is so strong it could choke anyone even with one spray. This...this is his little brother. The notes in both are different but they smell very similar, mainly of cumin/saffron. For reference, I am female in late 30's and love trying unique scents. I can bathe in this and not worry about "choking" anyone around me, and especially for the price (it's better than some Kilians that I have returned due to poor longevity). This juice is pretty unique and if you are not afraid of standing out, then try this!
