Vintage Velvet Crewneck with Pintuck Pant

Do not buy this. The fabric pilled immediately on first wear. This is not even close to “velvet” more like a cheap terry towel. washed and wore it only 2x and it’s already trash. I expected much better quality from Nordstrom especially at this price point. Lastly it’s a hassle to return as they won’t take it back at the Rack like they do for most Nordstrom purchases.

The only negatives are that the pants pilled after one wear, which is disheartening with the total cost of the outfit. Also, the elastic around the waist rolls so I have to spend time trying to straighten it out.

The fabric is incredibly smooth and cozy without feeling heavy, which made it perfect for transitioning from chilly airport air conditioning to the warmer Florida weather. Most importantly, it held its shape, didn’t wrinkle, and felt breathable throughout the day. This set is the definition of elevated comfort. If you’re looking for something chic, versatile, and unbelievably soft — especially for travel — this is it! I’ll definitely be purchasing more colors. 💕
