Sunny Modern Fit Stretch Twill Chinos

Nordstrom is usually awesome but something is up with this product. The first time I ordered these I got 2 pairs - blue and khaki - in my usual size of 34x34. Length was perfect but I could barely get them buttoned. So back they went. Round 2, I ordered 2 pairs in khaki and gray, each in 35 and 36 waist (they were out of blue in those sizes). This time both khaki pairs were insanely long, like under my heal / covering part of my foot long. It was like they were different product. However, the gray ones fit more like the ones from my original order, and luckily the 35 works. They are slightly snug (I like that). The 36 would have worked, too, I'd just need a belt. So sizing wise, I'd say order 2 pairs - one 1 size up from your normal and one 2 sizes up, and see which one you like better. The weird thing about the gray ones, though, is that they are pictured with that little pocket flap on the front, but they don't actually have it (at least neither pair I ordered did). Not at all a deal breaker for me, just pointing it out. The material is very nice on these and they are comfortable. It's just hard to find a pair that fit. I was hoping to get them in multiple colors because I like the material so much. I ordered 6 pairs and 1 worked.

I had never purchased anything from the Vintage 1946 brand before but decided to give it a shot due to the great sale price. Wow it was a pleasant surprise! They are a modern, slimmer fit (without being tight) light khaki pant. They look awesome on my boyfriend. He doesn't like the typical business straight baggie khaki pants or skinny pants either and these are the perfect in between with a cool, casual but refined vibe. The details and quality are so good. The rear back pocket is lined with a navy gingham fabric which I did not notice when I ordered online. Also on the inside of the pants, the crotch area is reinforced with a sort of grosgrain ribbon trim. Such a nice extra touch. For reference he is 6 ft and typically a 33" waist with muscular legs. I ordered him the size 34x30 and it was a perfect fit. No need for hemming which is unusual for him. Back on here to buy more from the brand since the prices are such a great value!

Great fit and soft feel. This color works well with everything from dark blue or black to off white. Versatile too- dress up or down depending on shirt and shoes. I would definitely recommend.

I bought these chinos for my husband during the Anniversary Sale. He loved them because they were light, not so tapered at the ankle, comfortable to sit in, and casual yet good enough to wear a nice button down shirt with. By August he asked for 3 more in different colors!
