Beautiful shoes that severely injured my feet
I was so excited to wear these beautiful shoes on the first day of school. Unfortunately, by the end of the day, I was limping. By the following day, I had significant cuts around my toes, severe swelling, and fluid draining from the wounds. Several days later, I am still wearing bandages, and the swelling is only now beginning to subside.
What makes this especially concerning is that I have small, narrow feet and purchased my usual size. The shoes looked beautiful on, but the rigid patent-leather openings repeatedly cut into my toes. I am generally very tolerant, rarely complain, and have never written a product review before, but this experience was painful and deeply disappointing.
I cannot recommend these shoes. Anyone who experiences comparable injuries should receive a full refund or a properly designed replacement that can actually be worn without injuring the feet. Stuart Weitzman and Nordstrom should investigate the construction of this style before another customer has the same experience.
