Gorgeous color, comfy!
I'm 5' 7" and 160 and am usually a M and the M here fits wonderfully. The smocking gives room up top and the lining on the skirt is soft, substantial, and adds that extra quality that makes this so great. The Red Wine color is a gorgeous burgundy, too.

Runs Quite Large
The pattern (red wine) is very cute and great for fall. The dress itself runs a bit large. The smocking area stops higher up than the pictures show which looked awkward on me. The sleeves were much more balloon-like in person and they were also very long. Bonus points though for a lining that wasn't fussy, restrictive or twisting up inside there. I would have exchanged for a size down to see what that was like, but I was worried about the awkward hitting waistline on me and also it just wasn't THE cutest dress I could find so I returned it.

Flattering Dress
I way underestimated the simplicity of this dress and how flattering it is on. I waited until it went on sale to purchase if. I call it my Little House on the Prairie dress bc it gives me that feel but it is very flattering and simple. I’m petite (under 5’) and this dress still worked for me well, just longer than the picture. Sleeves were fine. Love a good dress with pockets!
