Slim Silk Blouse

This Vince silk blouse is a game changer for me. I'm 5'10" and have a really hard time finding silk blouses where the sleeves and body are long. I LOVE this blouse. The sleeves are perfect - hitting just above the top of my thumb knuckle. The silk is beautiful. I had Nordstrom add hidden snaps between the 4th and 5th button because the silk is so fluid, it does pop open between the buttons a little bit. I love them so much, I ordered navy, black and white......and think I'm going back for hyacenth. I'm 5'10", 148lbs and I went with the M. Also.....they are "slim." They aren't boxy like the Equipment Signature silk blouse.

I have been looking for a basic silk blouse for years and I had high hopes for this one, but I am sorry to say that I will be returning it. I bought two sizes--Small and Medium because I was unsure of sizing and other reviewers said the sleeves were too tight. My reason for returning BOTH sizes is the cut of the armholes and the lack of bust darts. I am VERY disappointed in the current style that I see in many clothing lines of making blouses for women with NO bust darts. I liked the fabric--both the weight and the opacity. I did not find the white silk to sheer. I liked the detail of a turn back cuff and the length. But it simply doesn't fit. I am average height, weight, and bust size. I have shirts by Lands' End and Foxcroft with bust darts. Why is it that at this price point, even on sale, they cannot add that small detail?

I love this blouse, so much so that I bought it in black and navy (coastal). It is a flattering cut, not nearly as large through the body as most Vince tops, which just are too much for me. I have wide shoulders so bought the Medium rather than my normal small. Arms are long, but the cuffs are made so they can be folded back to the perfect length, plus it looks good with the sleeves folded up, as shown. I've worn it to work with a skirt and with jeans to elevate their look. Works well both ways.

Perfect for all occasions I purchased black and navy(coastal), exceptional gorgeous loose fit but “lean” lines against arm pit to waist more traditional lines than typical Vince style baggy shoulder/ underarms. If between sizes if you like kind of utility work blouse style of order up, I am typically a 36/c-8-10 blouse or size large, I got the large little loose fit but perfect with work slacks, suit slacks denim. I waited for sale never a sale item but both worth it. Perfect for all occasions really beautiful silk blouse a must have staple in the closet. Soft silk light and single button open cuff, the arms a slightly 1inch too long but still acceptable when folding arms for casual look.

I bought size S in white based on reviews. It was small and went back. I am 5'7, 125 lbs. Size small was tight in the chest , though I am 34 B, but have broad shoulders. Sleeves were perfect, not tight at all, good length. White blouse was see through for me. I exchanged for black in M and it is perfect, sleeves are a bit too long, but I can fold them.
