Double Slit Mock Neck Sweater

I adore Vince sweaters and most of the time, I feel they are well worth the price. Unfortunately, not this time, even at the Anniversary Sale price. This is an odd blend of fabrics and the neck comes up really high. It doesn’t “scrunch” down or roll down, so it just rubs under your jaw/chin. And it’s itchy, so that just makes it even more uncomfortable. It’s oversized, which can be nice with leggings, etc, but I found it to be oversized in a bulky, wide way. It’s a no from me and back it goes.

I love Vince sweaters and add one to my collection every year. Sadly, this one is not it. I’m 5’9” and a 4 typically. Went with a medium on this sweater because I wanted it to be comfortably large over a pair of leggings with boots. It just doesn’t make the cut for a Vince sweater. The material is a bit weird and overall it feels like I’m in some knockoff from H&M. The fit bulges a bit around the middle & in store I’d try on a small, but I don’t think even the right fit would convince me this sweater is worth the money. The collar doesn’t sit right, it wants to slouch but doesn’t so instead it juts up into my chin and folds at the top.

This is a gorgeous color (fisherman), as always with Vince. The fit / design is not that great or that impressive. The wool is scratchy and thin. Seems to run a bit small (For Vince). I will be returning this due to (lack of) design / fit but will be on the look out for a different Vince sweater in the Fisherman color.
