Double Layer Shirtdress

This will be a perfect dress for early fall - all the way through winter. Early fall wear with nude legs and black pointy toe heels (I love Alexander Wang's Lovisa) or Pedro Garcia platform wedge sandals. For winter add black tights and pointy toe ankle boots from Vince (Erving) and a leather jacket. The dress is sophisticated yet easy-going, modern but pretty. It is flattering yet has a comfortable, loose silhouette. The size is true to Vince sizing. NOTE: The color is more of a super dark raspberry color - it has a tinge of a purple/blue tone in it, not a dark brick/red color as shown in the photo. It is not your traditional burgundy color and I love it for that reason.

I'm on the fence about keeping the dress. I love the color (like a deep red wine), the silk fabric is great quality and it is very comfortable. The dress fits TTS or slightly large. The downside is, it's a bit bland and shapeless. It's like a blank canvas. You really need to dress it up with a great pair of boots/booties or a fabulous pump and accessories. I'll try it on again and decide if it's a keeper. Overall, a nice quality dress, that with the right accessories, could be quite lovely.

An amazing fabric and color, but everyone I tried this on for said that it made me look like an eggplant. I agreed. Might be good on someone who is shorter (I am 5'9") who has a straighter body shape (I bought maybe too large of a size to accommodate for my hips).

Amazing dress that flows and fits beautifully. The color is a deep burgundy that looks gorgeous in fall. I'm 5'8 and this hits a few inches above the knee. My #NSale shipment just arrived today and I immediately tried it on with bare legs and nude pumps. It would also look great in winter with black boots. I plan to dress it up for a special occasion or can wear it for work. I absolutely LOVE this dress, and it's well made and worth the price. You won't regret it!

The color is beautiful but that's all I can say good about this dress. Sleeves are really not very sheer so the whole thing is matronly. Size 10 was snug - appear to be a loose fit in picture-it is not loose. The price is WAY out of line even on sale.
