Crop Leggings

I bought this style in navy last season, and I love them. I just now ordered them in black thinking they would be identical, and I am disappointed to say they are not. The biggest difference is the leg opening at the ankle is clearly wider than my navy pair from last year. Just that one element makes a difference in how slimming/chic they appear to me. They are okay but not as flattering, and I do not love them. I will be returning them. I bought both pairs in a Small. Either they changed the specs this season, or something happened with the quality control. By the way I did check the code on the label to be sure they were indeed the same style as my previous pair, and the numbers are the same.

Ordered the small, (for reference, an 5 ft. 4 in. and 120). The small was too tight. Sent those back requesting a medium. The legging itself is a nice material, has some heft to it so I am thinking it will hold its shape, and not reveal too much. The tailoring was excellent, and the length and proportion was correct. My only difficulty may be in finding the right fit.

I just bought these at my local store and didn't even realize they are considered "leggings." All I know is that I tried them on and they fit me well -- a rarity for me. I can't get myself to wear leggings to the office, but these are more like slim pants and are totally work-appropriate. The material is substantial with plenty of stretch. For reference, I am 5'3", 119 lbs, natural waist 29 in, hips 35 in with no bum (the reason it's hard to find pants that fit) and I bought the small. I could use another inch at the waist, but because of the stretch, I am comfortable. I did not even try the medium. These are not not crop length for me. They go to the top of my ankle bone, so I can't wear them with my booties or oxfords. However, they look great with pumps, pointy and ballet flats, and my ECCO sneakers.

5’8” / 180lbs Like others said, the bottom is actually a little more wide than depicted in the picture. I was hesitant to try it on because of that but since I spotted it in stores today, I gave it a whirl and was pleasantly surprised! I LOVE the fit! It is flattering on my larger calves and because I’m a curvier figure, the wider opening on the bottom actually works a lot better than a straight leg! In regards to the fabric, I don’t personally believe it’s thick. I live in an area that’s 80 degrees on average everyday and find this fabric comfortable. Additionally, it’s stretchy! Perfect for a day you plan on eating a large lunch :)

I picked these up on a whim during my trip to Palm Beach Gardens. I used to be a huge fan of Vince clothing in the 2000s, so when I spotted these pants, I knew I had to buy them. They reminded me of an almost identical pair that was my go-to back in the day. However, I was disappointed to find that they don’t hold their shape as well; they stretch out after just one wear.
