Cowl Neck Silk Blouse

The minute I put it on, I loved it. It feels great against the skin, and the fit was perfect. It has a bit of shape (not boxy) and the neck opening is almost like a portrait neckline but not so wide. It drapes nicely without feeling geometric. The length is short enough (with a finished hem) to wear without tucking in, which I prefer. It might be a tad short if you have a long torso (I do not). It’s also loose enough that it can hide a little jiggle. The juniper is like a deep forest green.

The purplish-grey, "Iris Smoke," of this blouse is very subtle, pretty and flattering, the cut is nicely shaped and the fabric drapes gracefully. However, the neckline is cheaply made and falls into a folded "V" shape instead of a true cowl. When I ordered a second one in a different color, the neckline was poorly constructed and kept flipping inside out. Fortunately, since it came from Nordstrom, I returned it with no problem.
