Nouveau Midi Tube Skirt

This skirt would be best for someone with a very straight frame. I am curvy, with a smaller waist and a bigger rear, and the fit on this skirt just didn't work. The waist was almost perfect, just slightly loose, but the skirt was extremely tight on my bum, such that I would have had to go up at least two sizes. It was very unflattering. It was otherwise a very pretty skirt. The material is thin, but the lining is pretty substantial, which makes the skirt feel more comfortable IMO and has a smoothing effect. The leopard print is also natural looking and not gaudy. For reference, measurements on my PXS are waist 27", hips 32", length 22". My own measurements are waist 26", hips 36". I have never been able to get Vince Camuto bottoms to work for me because they seem to be cut for a very straight figure, and this skirt was no exception.

Fantastic print. If you work in a creative, or fashion-forward environment, the cut will pair nicely with a basic black or pop-of-color blazer for the office. The soft jersey fabric will also work with a T, trainers and leather or denim jacket. The only miss is the unfinished hem. It rolls up for a look that is less stylish and more cheap. 3 stars as I will have to finish the skirt myself.

I purchased this in various colors for work. It does look different than the picture. I used the recommendations about fit so I sized down or got them in petite. They fit well. The quality, to me, is sub Nordstrom. There is NO hem. The lining was fine. Overall, I didn’t feel as though I was getting a quality product. Returning ALL of the skirts.
