'Elmay' Pump

I love wedges, especially when they are on sale. These wedges fit perfectly and I knew they were extra awesome after walking a mile in them the first day to run an unexpected errand and experiencing NO soreness or blisters. So many women's shoes these days require "breaking in", which makes no sense to me considering how much money we women spend on shoes. Highly recommend these shoes. I got the molten/ruby suede and have received numerous compliments. Comfy and stylish, to boot.

I have purchased three pairs of this wedge now - the first a year ago and then two more just recently when they went on sale. I work on a college campus and I am literally back and forth, on my feet most days, on some pretty uneven cobblestone terrain. And, I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. I have painful feet from years of ballet and nearly everything either rubs the bone on the outside of my feet, hurts my heels, or is just completely uncomfortable. It's such a cliche, but these are literally comfortable straight out of the box. The leather is soft and feels already worn-in (NOT worn-out!) for you, and the padded toe bed is such a fantastic feature that VC has really gotten right in all of their shoes. And, I love a little bit of toe cleavage on all of my shoes. :) This is such a high recommend for me.

I purchased these shoes for my wife imply because she loves shoes. She was thrilled even before looking at them because she was already familiar with the brand name. The leather is wonderfully soft and she sayss they feel as comfortable as her tennis shoes. The extra padding at the ball of the foot works wonders. She has had back surgery and has a slight limp so she tends to wear lower heels than when we first started dating. The wedge heel gives her the confidence to go dancing again. The quality of the workmanship is evident and she glows as she spins in her dark blue dress that matchess the shoes perfectly. I was aware that Nordstrom had quality merchandise and great customer service, but this purchase went beyond that. Nordstrom has the ability to make my wife smile and dance, feeling lovely in her new shoes. Her birthday present will certainly be this shoe in another color. I am told that a women can never have too many shoes, and this purchase proves it.
