Cable Stitch Funnel Neck Sweater

I have pretty much stopped buying Vince sweaters over the past few years. This is another one I'm going to return. Reason: the stitching is very open in certain areas, especially up near the upper chest and armholes and it looks like the sweater has holes in it in certain spots. I'm not sure I want to spend this much on a sweater that looks like I may have torn it in a couple of spots. Other reasons I don't buy Vince sweaters any more: 1) the quality of their sweaters is generally pretty poor, especially the cashmere ones. I've had so many of their sweaters pill so badly that I had to get rid of them after only wearing them three or four times. It's not worth it, and a poor investment. 2) the price of their sweaters is not commensurate with the quality. I would rather spend $300 more than a Vince sweater and get a super high quality cashmere sweater that won't pill and that I can wear for ten years. Other notes: this sweater runs true to size. It is definitely not anywhere as long or loose as the sweater they are showing in the photo on this website. It is a cute sweater, apart from the open stitching issues.
