'Brigham' Open Toe Bootie

I ordered these on the strength of them having been used to style many of the looks in a recent Nordstrom catalog. They are so perfect in their design ... but they arrived today, and I could tell immediately that these booties were on something higher than a 4" heel (in my size, 10). I whipped out a measuring tape, and the heel is a a full 5". I tried them on and my knees locked. I was not looking for something that high. I wanted a boot for daily wear, and I simply can't do 5" comfortably, so they'll be going back. I'm sad - had the heel matched the stated spec, these would truly be the perfect fall bootie. The leather is gorgeous and sumptuous - sturdy in the front and buttery in the back. They hug the ankle beautifully. If you can manage the height, do it. They're gorgeous.

This bootie is beautifully made, the leather is structured in the front and buttery in the back. The shaft is a bit higher than a traditional bootie, so I'd recommend this for long legged gals. Goes with shorts, skirts, dresses, and skinny jeans, though the hem will bunch a little. Overall very comfortable despite the height! Great price!

I bought these shoes to wear all day for an event I put on. Even though it was the first time I wore them, I was able to go all day without complaining about my feet. The leather is beautiful and I am so happy I bought them!!
