Belted Square Neck Midi Dress

I love this dress. It’s not supposed to be fitted. It drapes your body and allows you cinch it at the waist to show off your waist line. It has room for my breast 38D. I bought a medium. I intend to wear it to work so I would not wear a push up bra or you chest will be exposed. a simple, low cut balconette bra should work or none for the square neckline. The shoulder straps are wide enough to cover the arm pit area. I’m back to by the darker color. Looks good with wedges, flats or heels. Simple, classic, classy.

I was afraid this would be a problem from the way it looks on the model, and sure enough it was! The neck of this dress is cut way too low, no “regular” bra would work with it. Since this is a casual day dress made out of cotton - not some fancy evening number - I don’t understand the super low neck design. It is simply not practical. Otherwise it’s a fine dress but not outstanding enough to make me want to mess with altering the neck. Sizing is roomy but I find that’s the case with all Vince, so I think it is true to size for this brand.
