Fragrance story: Victoria Beckham captures the mending and motivating spirit of mindfulness in the memory of San Ysidro Drive: An intense rush of passion fruit and pink peony; vitalising ocean air infused with rich rose absolute, saffron flower and agarwood; black amber and vanilla incensing the atmosphere of a personal sanctuary.
Energy, opportunity, a renewed connection to nature. When Victoria moved her life—and her family—to Los Angeles in 2007, it marked the beginning of a transformative awakening. San Ysidro Drive captures the mindful and meditative memory of her time in California. Heady florals mingled with the salty ocean air wafting through open windows on drives down the Pacific Coast Highway. The comfort of black amber and vanilla lend a grounding feeling of home.
Each responsibly-crafted fragrance is bottled in a flacon inspired by a vintage parfum bottle Victoria collected while traveling. The yellow enamel of the San Ysidro Drive bottle is reminiscent of the Southern California sun.
Created in collaboration with the master parfumier Jérôme Épinette, the genderless artisinal fragrances are instinctively crafted to embody the essence of Victoria's fashion and beauty brand.

Beautiful bottle but scent misses the mark.
The three stars are for the gorgeous packaging and bottle. I also tried the Portofino scent in hopes one of these would for me. I wanted to like one of these so bad but neither worked. (A separate review was left for Portofino.) This scent smelled better than Portofino but has more of a musky smell, which I did not love. I thought it would grow on me but did not...it was also very strong at first but had zero staying power. This is an issue with both scents -- no staying power. Lovely bottle and packaging but the scent(s) miss the mark and also had no staying power. I wanted to love one of these scents but it just didn't happen for me. And while this expensive...I can see it being worth it if the smell/staying power was as great as the bottle. Would also be a great gift but again the scent is very personal for each individual.

Finally!
I've been wanting this fragrance for ca. 2 years but couldn't justify buying it due to price and big perfume collection. But, I've finally bought it and and am so happy. The scent is gorgeous, dark, mysterious. I don't like rose-scented perfumes, but the mix of rose and oud is out of this world (hence my big Arab perfume collection).

LOVE LOVE LOVE
This product is incredibleeeee, it stays on for days after you spray it. It is a very unique scent, in the sense that on every skin tone it smells differently. On my skin it smells more oud, whereas on my mother skin it smells more rosy, therefore, its a must must purchase.

Gorgeous!
Lovely fragrance, an uplifting scent and sophisticated at the same time. I’m so glad I was able to get a sample of this! The longevity is great and sillage isn’t overpowering. Unique scent which I don’t have anything else like in my collection. The top notes of passion fruit give it a bright opening, with floral middle notes keeping it feminine, and the base notes lend it depth and a beautiful dry down.

My favorite!
I never liked or needed perfume before this one. It’s absolutely my favorite- I’m always complimented on it, by men and women. The smell is subtle yet so beautiful. There is something so special about all VB perfumes.
And it lasts all day. Can’t recommend enough!
