Grooved Faux Fur Hooded Vest

This vest seems to be very well made, and it is super soft. I tried the white and black, and much preferred the black, as it has a slight shimmer to it. It was very heavy though, and I struggled to figure out how to wear it. If it was cold enough to warrant such a thick, warm vest with a hood I don’t see why I would want my arms to be exposed. The sizing also didn’t work for me, as I’m a medium who often has to size up due to my chest. The medium vest was tight on the chest, and the large was too loose around the body. I sadly have to return them.

This vest is sooooo soft and I love the length on this so I can pair it with leggings. I am 5'11", 185lbs and usually am between a large and xl in tops depending on how I want the fit and went with a large in this. A little snug in my hip area when zipped, but I believe if I would have sized up, it would have been way too big in the torso. On me, it looks better unzipped anyway, so the large works.

This is one of the only pieces I received from the NSale that I felt like was high quality enough to invest in & keep. The fur is extremely soft & doesn't look super fake. The black almost has a shimmer to it, and the fit is beautiful! The details on this vest were attended to so nicely, including some suede-like material around the zipper that adds to the quality feel of the piece. I really hope Nordstrom carries higher quality items for the sale, over cheap ones that will end up in the landfill in a few years.
