'Deanna' Mary Jane Pump

Beautiful shoe, but I had to return it. The toe box is really narrow and the sides cut into my feet. I attempted to size up, but there was just too much room in the back and it gaped open at the ankle. If I stuck with my regular size I know I would have had pain the the toe area. The block heel/suede pump is so trendy right now, so I knew I'd find something to substitute for it. For almost $200 I was not interested in something that sort of fits.

Via Spiga shoes have always worked well for me. They are lined in leather so there is no skin irritation, they are comfortable, and styles are lovely. These Mary Janes have a block heal so no unflattering teetering or unsteady ankles, and not too high for all day wear.

Like many women I love high heels. High heels are sexy as all get out. BUT, very high heels can go "wobbly" on you resulting in a fall and a not so wonderful time in the orthopedic ward. These shoes are very well made. They are very solid and very stable. I feel as if my foot gets lots of support and stabilization from them. They are also comfortable, with enough padding to make them easy to wear over a long period of time. I love them, you cannot take these away from me, even though they are somewhat expensive I am willing to pay it.

They are comfortable. But they squeak all the time. I thought when I used them a couple of times , they would stop squeaking. Now they are Louder than ever, walking around the office is so embarrassing .

I ordered the wine/blue color and I thought they would be leather, but they are fabric, the shoe is tight, I'm a true size 10 and I couldn't stand the ultra thin Mary Jane Strap, it was annoying, I sent them back, they are so not worth price listed.

I've looked at a LOT of Mary Jane pumps the past few weeks and was happy to find these in this price point. Unfortunately, they didn't work for me. The suede is very nice and gives the shoes a more expensive feel. Which, alas, is taken down a notch by the buckle. It's not cheap looking but it isn't as higher end feeling as the rest of the shoe. The pitch of the shoe is too much for me. It crowded my toes and just wasn't comfortable.
