Lisa Knee High Boot (Women)

I thought I had wide calves but this was too big for me I’m relieved to say? Perfect for someone who does have wide calves but I looked like a storm trooper in it. 😅 I wear a size 9 in most shoe brands so the foot part was perfect and would have been really nice otherwise. I’ll try her other regular size calf boots and hope I get a better fit. Shopping and returns were smooth as usual thanks to Nordstrom!

I ordered the size 8.5 Lisa Knee high boot in black suede in WIDE CALF; the box says wide calf, but there is absolutely no way these should be marketed as such. I do have wider calves, but have no trouble at all with other brands’ wide calf knee high boots (Vince Camuto, Marc Fisher, and Dolce Vita to name a few - their wide calf boots fit like a dream). I’ve been on the hunt for black suede knee high stiletto boot (with gold or neutral hardware) for a while, when I came across these beauties. And they are beautiful boots. It’s a shame I could not zip them half way up to my calf! VB should be ashamed of themselves for trying to say these are WC, I even measured the top calf width and I don’t think I got the right pair. Even the details say 16 inch circumference (which is usually taken from a size 7, meaning 8.5s would be even wider). See for yourselves from the picture - definitely not 16 inches. So so disappointed. I was thrilled when I found these, and heartbroken when they didn’t fit.

These boots are truly made for wide calf girlies! It’s unfortunate that I received a pair that have been worn. Of, course they’re sold out now so I have to return them and can’t even exchange. Please do better with your quality control (QA). This is unacceptable and disappointing. Aside from this issue, they are for wide calves and fit true to size.
