'Aliz' Slingback Pump (Women)

It's okay. I bought like because it was the only legit pair of shoes that look like the Chanel slingbacks that are so hot these days. For a tenth of the price of Chanel's, these are good. I didn't give it 5 stars because the heels are way too low so it doesn't give you enough lift to look more chic. The color is on point, very "Chanel-esque" but the craftsmanship isn't great for something that cost over $100.

I was happy to find this pretty slingback with low heel because after foot surgery, I can no longer wear even a 2 inch heel and wanted something dressier than a ballet flat. The sparkly pewter fabric was perfect with my midnight navy evening gown. The padding in the ball area made them comfortable to wear for a 2 hour reception followed by a gala dinner. The adjustable strap helped with fit as pumps often gape on the sides for me. I typically wear an 8 and 1/2 or 9 and found the size 9 was just right, so I would say they run just a bit on the small side. All in all, they are very well made and quite comfortable while still being pretty and not looking like a comfort shoe.

I am so disappointed with the quality of these shoes!! I have only worn them twice, and there are holes worn through the lining! I ordered in a W width to make sure they weren't too tight, and they fit well. I would return them, but I purchased them for my daughter's wedding so there is a sentimental attachment. I will never buy VANELi shoes again. I expect a pair of shes that I spend $150 to at least hold up for more than two wears. I would share a photo if I could. :(
