What it is: A luminous and sensual eau de parfum filled with sophisticated floral scents and subtle warmth atop a fine vanilla base.

Fragrance story: The floral note of rose mingles with notes of bergamot and iris pallida, forming the heart of this floriental scent. Warm leather melts into accents of patchouli and deep vanilla, balancing the fragrance. Its luxurious glass bottle is entirely cut into prisms that resemble studs.

Style: Floral, warm.

Notes:
- Top: bergamot.
- Middle: iris, rose.
- Base: leather, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla.

How to use: Perfume is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Mist into the creases of your knees and elbows for a lasting, strong sent. After applying the fragrance, avoid rubbing or dabbing your skin. This breaks the scent down, causing it to wear off more quickly. If you prefer to spray fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent. Replace your perfume after 12 months. Expired fragrance oils of more than a year old lose their original integrity.

Lovely Fragrance!

I was first introduced to Valentino "Valentina" fragrance through a sample I received. Really nice, crisp fragrance. Very pleasant. But then I received a sample of "Donna"! OMGoodness! Such a beautiful fragrance! Truly a MASTERPIECE. So many new fragrances these days are designer prices and names, but dime store quality. Not this one!!!!! And while I like Valentina, I still say in Donna they have really outdone themselves! Just an amazing fragrance. Rich yet fresh. I never wear this fragrance that I am not complemented several times. A big winner in my book! So glad elegance is back in vogue in fragrances! THANK YOU SO MUCH, VALENTINO!!!!!

Description Inaccurate

The fragrance notes listed are for the old 2015 formulation. What I opened and received is consistent with those found on Valentino’s website with peach, praline, patchouli. This new 2021 formulation is somewhere along the lines with Mon Paris and Donna Born In Roma. It is sweet smelling. I was looking for the bright bergamot and rose with hint of leather note…sadly it’s nowhere to be found.

Great but

I like the light scent and the hint of Bergamot as it is my favorite fruit. While the design of the bottle is usually a factor in my decision to get a perfume, I was a little disappointed that it did not have a cover. The black Lille thing to keep it from spraying while in my suitcase was not a good idea and it really took away from such a great design of the bottle. I hope next time they renew it they can come up with a cover that I suggest to be a trans-lucid one that could keep the integrity of the design and secure the spray. Otherwise, I am looking forward to enjoying it.

Smells amazing!!

I purchased this for myself after Valentine's day. I wanted it so so badly and could not wait any longer. It's been awhile since I've found a "have to have it" perfume. This is gorgeous. It's a rose/makeup smell in my opinion. Rose with a waxy and powdery quality. It has a nice vanilla drydown that isn't cloyingly sweet or sickly. It's super feminine and I have been wearing it every day for the 2 weeks that I've had it. I don't want to wear anything else. The only downside for me is the packaging. I wish the nozzle had a cap so I could travel with it. Moreso- the spray itself is more of a concentrated squirt than a fine mist. I feel like for this price the atomizer should work better. It's also sort of awkward to hold and spray -- especially to get to the back of the neck-- where I personally like to spray. I took one star off for general packaging and atomizer issues Other than that I love this perfume. I got the 50ml bottle and I think I will get a large size when I finish this.

amazing

I am a perfume junkie. I am always looking for the next best perfume! I simply loved Valentino Absolu but it was discontinue after I used it to no more. I got Play. Love it but still searching for another one Christmas came hubby surprised me and what can I say?! Valentino you did it again I am in love Donna is great!!!!!

Ahhh- mazing

One of the besT scents I've smelled. It is a pleasure to the olfactory senses and even more with the wonderful sillage and whisps you get that every once in a while that wafts through the air. Not strong. Not NOT strong. Kinda perfect and feminine and flirty yet sophisticated. Everything you could want in a perfume. If I had to choose which perfume to be like I'd pick this one. I'm not good with notes and what you smell first and what lingers long after the first spritz is gone but this one is a lifelong keeper. Believe all the positive wonderfully written reviews below. And GO GET SOME OF THIS GEM.
