I found my “Signature Scent”
I have been in search of my signature scent for several years... I have bottles of various scents on my dressing table but nothing I love or wear regularly. Every time I go to the mall, I try something new. I spray them on to see how they do with my body chemistry. There have been several that I really liked. Looking back, it was as if I was trying to talk myself into loving it- But when it came down to it, I did not have the desire to commit to owning it. Tonight (2-7-2020), I went to Nordstrom Dallas Galleria to purchase some MAC items that I am out of. The first display I saw as I walked in the door was the Valentino Donna display of the 3 new fragrances. I picked up the bottle and sprayed on a tester strip- I immediately had the “wow” reaction. The woman at the counter, Tehmina, got another tester and asked to spray it on my arm... The moment she did I was in LOVE!
You know that feeling when you find THE ONE...
This fragrance is EVERYTHING...
It’s captivating, feminine, sophisticated, and elegant! I didn’t even look at the cost- it didn’t matter... This was my new signature scent.
Momentarily, my joy went away when I learned they were out of the large size. Tehmina told me not to worry, she would order one and have it sent to me- and she would send me home with a large enough sample to hold me over until it arrived (see above pic).
Tonight was the most wonderful shopping experience I have in years. I often order online (which is of course still great) but nothing compares to the personal customer service I received tonight. Even when Tehmina knew I loved the “born in Roma,” she had me try the other 2 just to be sure. She also could have sold me the smaller size and been done with me so much quicker- Yet she made sure to show me that the larger size was such a better value- and would make a better presence.
Tehmina is a true asset to Nordstrom’s- Because of her, I will be returning in March when I purchase the Dyson set for my birthday present to me :)

Always try a fragrance before purchasing!
I should know better than to buy a fragrance that I didn't try in the store. I think this was the worse fragrance I have ever smelled. It's not worth $5 let alone what I paid for it!

Take Me To Roma!
This is the ONE! I love almost all of the Valentino line but this one is a Stunter! I fell in love as soon as I sprayed it on myself. Was going to blind purchase this one because the bottle is so pretty! But I’m so glad I had the opportunity to experience it first hand. I sprayed some on myself before leaving the store and was complimented as soon as I hugged my friend. He said you smell really good! If a man compliments me on my fragrance I’m buying no questions asked! Don’t hesitate Ladies add this to your perfume portfolio, it’s a Winner! So happy its Anniversary week and I can get some extra points from this purchase. I love Nordy’s!
