Dioon Platform Chelsea Bootie (Women)

I read every review I could on multiple sites before buying these and was thoroughly convinced that they'd be worth the money. Although they do run true to size and are lighter than they look like they would be with the platform, the soles are so hard they are incredible uncomfortable! This is incredibly disappointing. I'm debating keeping them and using inserts, but for boots at this price point, I expected better comfort out of the box.

These boots are great for winter in NYC — they have tread and keep you out of puddles. I normally wear 8.5 but chose the next size up (9.5) after measuring my foot WITH thick socks on as that’s how I prefer to wear the boots. I’d say this shoe runs true to size, as they are a little loose whenever I wear normal socks. But then again i’m thankful for the little bit of extra room by the end of the day if my feet have swollen slightly. So if you’re having trouble picking a size, I’d just use Vagabond’s size chart and take your personal preferences into consideration as well :)
