Grace Chelsea Boot (Women)

Fall has just begun and I know these boots will be my everyday choice for footwear. I ordered the size 8 US and comfortably wear a thick sock with these boots. I actually still have a nice amount of wiggle room as well. I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 in women’s shoes (leaning more heavily on the 7.5 side). The boot’s soles and heel is made of a shock absorbing rubber. Very quiet walk. Plus the insole is super cushiony. Feels like you’re wearing sneakers. This is my first pair of Vagabond boots, but certainly will not be my last.

All the reviews mentioned to size down and I am a 37.5 (7.5) but the 37 was way too snug. As a 7.5 US women shoe size I always buy size 38 Euro and only buy 37 if it’s sandals like Birkenstock’s etc. I owned a pair of Vagabond 38 boots and those were a smidge too loose. My feet slide around in my other boots but was able to tighten up the shoes since they were laced up boots. My advice is to not size “down” if you’re in between because a shoe that’s too snug can ruin your day (and feet). Size up because you can always wear thicker socks or put padding in your shoes. I’ll be returning my 37s for 38s

Unfortunately, I sized up to a 7 from my usual 6.5 based on other reviewers but found it to be a whole size too big. I put in 2 inserts and doubled up on socks and it’s still a little roomy. A little investigation later and I realized that while my US shoe sizes vary, my EU size does not. So order based on you EU size and don’t just size up. Otherwise these boots are lovely and give you a nice boost in height. They are however chunky and therefore a little heavier and I don’t find them to be as comfortable as I would like. I wish they had more arch support as well.
