Great fabric and fit
The pale green color was true to the picture. I bought the medium and it fits well. This dress is very flowy and comfortable. I expect to wear it to work and to casual events. It also dried well on the low setting of the dryer. The linen fabric is soft.

Surprised
I purchased the goldfinch medium dress; there were no labels as to the material content. However, the dress looked and felt like a linen or a cotton linen blend as advertised. The dress was unlined , felt like a sack on and puckered on me above the breast so I ordered a second shift in a large in available white and was surprised that unlike the goldfinch color , the white dress was fully lined. Again, no material content label was located and although the area above the breast laid flatter, the arm holes were bigger. I decided to return the goldfinch in medium and keep the white in large. The white shift feels good on with the added weight of the lining , is about the same length as the medium on me , and pairs well with a sweater or jacket and multiple types of foot ware. I would purchase a large in black as well however, it doesn’t appear in the pictures to be lined. The difference in the feel of the dress between being lined and unlined is huge IMO. I am 5’6” 162 pounds , 34 DDD. Material looks and feels quality .

Wanted to love it, but...
Felt like a sister wife. Size was fine but zero shape, too much room in armpits. Despite being relatively fit, I think you need to be built like the model to pull this dress off, at least in white.

I’m size 4, 34B and ordered an XS. The quality is excellent but it runs large. Also it gapped out under the arms which made it unwearable. I suggest you size down if you have an average bust.

The white is lined black is not!
Nice material, size is weird because of the lining. Fit in black small while white small was tight. Assuming it’s the lining.
Why oh why oh why do they skip pockets? I mean how hard is it to put in at least one pocket somewhere?

When it gets hot, wear this dress!
I love this dress! I’m giving it 4 stars because the armholes were too big, so I had to have it altered. I know I will enjoy wearing it because it’s chic but also because it’s designed to keep you cool in hot weather. I bought the medium, and the length was perfect for a maxi, which is what I prefer.
