What it is: A weightless setting spray that locks makeup in for up to 16 hours and has an ultra-matte finish that absorbs oil and controls shine.
Who it's for: All skin types.
What it does: The award-winning refreshing formula is the same as the original but contains kaolin clay to help knock out that shine and oil, keeping skin fresh all day without fading or settling into fine lines.
How to use: After applying makeup, shake the bottle well. Hold 8–10 inches from your face and spray four times in an 'X' and 'T' formation. For an extra-mattifying effect and more shine reduction, use before and after applying your makeup. On makeup-free days, wear it alone to keep shine at bay.

the best!!
used a few different setting sprays but this tops them all! got smacked in the face by some sweaty dude yesterday at a gig and my makeup was exactly the same when I got home. Swear a full face could survive the apocalypse in this stuff!

Do Not Buy
I bought this today because the UD setting spray I usually use was out of stock. Like other reviewers have said, this splatters white clay everywhere and will ruin your finished face when you spray. Also, the product comes out in a tiny stream instead of a mist. So really it’s just a squirt gun of chalk! I tried shaking the bottle and spraying to be sure the nozzle wasn’t clogged but the white splatters persist. This product is just bad.

WORST Setting Spray…EVER
I’ve used the UD primer for years, both face & eyes. I recently bought the Ultra Matte Setting Spray expecting to be equally satisfied. WRONG! White spots all over my face and shirt. No matter how long I shake the bottle, take a few test sprays into the sink, OR clean the nozzle with warm water - Spots everywhere. I go on TikTok and search “UD White Spots” and there are TONS of complaints about this problem so they obviously have to know this it’s an issue. I’ve been extremely satisfied with every (other) UD product I’ve purchased but they seriously need to go back to the lab on this one. Take my advice and save yourself the money and aggravation. I’m going back to MAC.

Overall, good.
I've been using this for about a month and I really want to like this, buuuuut ... First, the nozzle cakes, so the product comes out as more of a jet than a mist. Even if you clean it each time and shake it a bunch. Second, the clay will coat any dark clothing or furniture nearby with white specks. It took me a bit when I first saw it to realize that my backpack and shirt (and some shirts hanging nearby) had not been spray painted! Does it come off? Yes, but it takes some elbow grease and time (not ideal). But is it a pain in the butt when you're trying to leave for work or your strapped for time? YES. Again, wanted to give this 5-stars, but it's really annoying.
