CRUZ V2 Stroller

I searched high and low for the perfect stroller in my situation having a 5 month old and 7 year old. I am so glad that I researched before making a big purchase! What I learned from a nice sales lady by the name of Janet is that the Vista is designed for someone who has two kiddos 1-4 years apart and that is not me. I also didn’t need the bassinet as I had another stroller at home they had a bassinet. Cruz V2 was a perfect fit for our family ! Specs: We got Bryce white Marl, freakin GORGEOUS for boy or girl. I also was looking at the Sierra Dune knit but to me it look more for a baby girl, still super gorgeous in person (boho feel) So far, love the suspension and ride. I love that the new V2 model is designed better for taller kiddos and has bigger tires. It looks very similar to the Vista, just a little less cost. I also bought the uppababy snack tray, stroller organizer, and piggy back attachment which we haven’t used yet. Overall, my husband and I both love it so far and love how it’s not so bulky but designed tough and it feels expensive. My only complaint about this stroller is the push handle bars. It’s definitely designed for mama’s 5 foot 4 and above, not shorter moms. It adjusts longer, not shorter and I wish there was an option to make it shorter or curved downwards. My wrists hurt pushing a long ride but I do suffer from carpal tunnel! It’s gorgeous and luxurious! I am so glad I went with Uppababy. I had a Nuna mixx, britax b ready, Maclaren stroller, etc. I can’t wait to get the Minu next!! Hope this helps any new parents out! It’s the Lexus of strollers, you get what you pay for !!!

Uppababy really did an incredible job at redesigning the Cruz, it’s like a mini vista to sum it up and it’s phenomenal! The under basket is huge and can carry a whole dinners worth of groceries, the canopy is extendable and shields out the sun light 100% ! The added suspension on the front wheels really do make a difference this stroller runs over bumps and uneven pavements like it’s no ones business and it’s folds up compactly taking up minimal space. I’ve tried a million strollers but none have compared to the Cruz V2 it’s officially become my favorite stroller. Try one for yourself and you’ll see why !

We purchased the stroller after returning the Nuna mixx next. Although that stroller has a smaller footprint, more Lux fabrics and sleeker overall look... it does not perform nor stand up against uppa baby in terms of practicality, accessories, customer service and engineering. Nuna started squeaking from the second ride and the footrest is a joke. The basket is also subpar and hangs over the foot brake!! Uppababy is smooth! We have used it almost daily for a month now and it handles bumps, curbs, streets and sidewalks well. No squeaks. Also, the UB feels solid like it’s not going to break. I had a question prior to buying and their customer service is professional and quick. Comes in stylish colors.. the blue melange worked well for us even through we wish it came in the “thicker” fabric and not melange. We appreciate the accessories available for a future growing family and future outings (piggyback board, snack tray, rain cover, bug cover)- all which Nuna do not offer (they only offer a cup holder!!!). We love the extra extendable canopy And canopy height adjustment and it works great with our 6 month old. Love the ability to switch from back to front racing and appreciate the ability to use other car seats with this stroller. I have been very happy and would last recommend this stroller to anyone!

I’m a first time mom so I had no idea what to look for in a stroller or what I wanted so I relied on reviews. Let me say the PROS first- this stroller is sleek and does have some great features- easy to push, glides nicely on rough terrain/ over bumps, has shock absorbers so stroller and baby move with the bumps, easy connection for Mesa car seat and bassinet and no need to buy additional converter clips, nice storage underneath. Now for the CONS- the stroller ( and uppa baby Mesa car seat ) are extremely HEAVY. I mean really heavy to the point that I hate pulling it out of my suv trunk ( and putting it back in) when we go to the park or anywhere I am pushing my baby around. If you have a porch with steps or steps in your garage leading into you house and you for-see yourself having to carry the stroller down steps or up steps often to use it, be aware the weight of this stroller and how annoying it will be each time lugging it around. The mesa car seat has the same issue- it is so heavy and when you add a 10+ pound baby to the weight of the car seat it’s terrible- even my husband who is 6’2 and 200 pounds says he can’t believe how heavy the car seat is. Also, the mesa car seat was not comfortable for my baby and I didn’t realize how uncomfortable he was until I recently bought a new one. He is 90th percentile for height for his age ( he’s 9 month now) and already outgrew the Mesa when he was 8 months old so the recommended max height and weight for this car seat seems off to me. It is easy to latch and each to use so if you have a tiny baby I think it will work but for us our guy was so uncomfortable and squished in it from month 1 it seemed and he’s slender just long. I recently ordered the Gracco extend 2fit convertible car seat and I couldn’t believe how much wider and more comfortable it is than the Mesa. My little guy would never fall asleep in the Mesa on longer car rides, he would scream and cry getting in it and out and the first day using our new seat he fell right asleep. Plus it’s so much easier to take him out of it and strap him in. Definitely try another stroller if you see yourself having to fold it up often for the car or trips or even bringing in the house. If you can keep it open in your garage and push it right out onto the sidewalk then you’ll love it. I would skip the car seat attachment all together bc it’s terrible in our opinion and find something more comfortable and lighter.

I had a vista and the older Cruz model. This Cruz V2 is like a smaller version of the vista, and doesn’t come with a bassinet, which we do not need. The vista is a bit bulky for me and my needs, but I’d buy it again if I had the option to buy without the bassinet. And then uppababy released the Cruz v2. I don’t think I ever loved a stroller as much as I love this one. And we’ve been through many many strollers over the years. We have had 5 kids in 10 years.

I researched so many strollers because my old stroller was just not great quality. I decided the Cruz V2 seemed to check all the boxes I was looking for and I can happily say it’s worth the price! It’s a smooth ride and extremely easy to push. The front suspension is amazing. (something my other stroller didn’t have) I purchased the uppababy organizer separately for my phone/key/water when going on walks which I also love. My 6month old seems to enjoy being in it during our walks. The canopy expends and covers her body from the sun with the exception of her long legs which is fine. It’s easy to lift from the trunk open and close and store away.
