Thames Fog Sheer Dress

Wanted this to work but this layering piece was full of static and therefore very clingy. Great concept but didn't work for me.

This is the perfect sheer dress for any occasion. I purchased it in black (L) and returned it for one size up as I prefered a looser fit. I wore it as a beach cover up which was super flattering and sexy for us plus size girls! Later I paired it with a red bodycon for a dinner date. Very sexy and flattering on any body type.

Looks spectacular with the sweater dresses to make them a little longer (as shown on the Universal website).

I found this ran about a size small. Something I’m finding with a lot of Universal Standard pieces I’ve bought. I kept this because while it ran small I could see myself fitting into this in a few months and I’ve got a ton of ways I could see myself wearing this. Wish the fit was better/true to size so I could have worn it now.

Really great dress for layering. I'm not brave enough to wear it on it's own as shown by the model, but I've worn it under and over other items and it's very nice. It makes a nice "filter" to disguise figure flaws, while looking edgy and cool at the same time. Wonderful quality. It ran just slightly slimmer than I was expecting, but I think a size up would be too big.

This dress is a great addition to my wardrobe. A great layering piece when I want to wear a sweater dress that feels just a bit short. It is stretchy, comfortable & easy to wear. I love that Nordstrom is carrying Universal Standard products, as they are very high quality, well-made pieces with a modern flair.
