What it does: This lotion is infused with 85% skin-care ingredients to hydrate skin and visibly help improve fine lines, smoothness and even skin tone. Powered by WetForce technology, the protective veil becomes stronger with contact to water and sweat. Experience higher-level innovation in sun protection with this formula powered by over 100 years of UV research and Japanese sun-care innovation. The mineral-based sheer lotion is good for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Key ingredients:
- Five types of algae: helps to prevent dryness and hydrates skin
- Licorice root extract: known to help soothe break-out prone skin
- Antioxidant-packed botanicals: help prevent damage caused by UV rays that lead to wrinkles
- WetForce Technology: negative ions in the formula combine iwth positive ions in perspiration and water to create an additional layer of invisible sun protection. As you continue to sweat and get wet, the product becomes more effective without any white cast
- SuperVeil-UV 360 Technology: creates an even layer of protection against UVA/UVB rays

How to use: Shake well before use. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, or after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and immediately after towel drying.

bring back previous formula

Hate this new replacement formula! Please bring back the previous formula. Both my daughter and I had severe sunburns and rashes from this new formula. Been using Shiseido products for over 40 years and this is the worse replacement ever.

Hate this new replacement formula! Please bring back the previous formula. Both my daughter and I had severe sunburns and rashes from this new formula. Been using Shiseido products for over 40 years and this is the worse replacement ever.

Suncare staple

Love this product. Thin as a serum but doesn’t run into my eyes when playing tennis. My only complaint is the spout at the top of the bottle. As I mentioned the product is very thin, the small spout is in the center of the lid. Poor decision! Makes a mess when I use it, constantly cleaning up the lid.

Not for swimming

I was told by a representative that this would be replacing the Wet Force SPF 50 in the blue tube. I use it for swimming and the Wet Force was excellent. This new formulation is ineffective, oily, and rubs off easily. I am very disappointed that Shiseido had something so good in Wet Force and discontinued it.

Had high hopes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the scent of this product. I had really high hopes for it after reading other reviews and I was very excited to try it. I am allergic to the sun and I am always on the lookout for new sunscreens. This one however seemed heavy and when I rubbed it in I was left with greasy sheen which I didn't like. I didn't look white though so that's a plus.
