How to use: Double check the skin- and hair-tone chart to ensure IPL is suitable for you. Prepare for hair removal by shaving the areas you want to treat with Ulike IPL; the device even comes with a razor. Protect your eyes with the included protective glasses. Power on your device and select level. Press treatment button to begin hair removal. After each session, wipe the treatment head with an alcohol wipe or lint-free cloth to clean.

Excellent for removing facial hair and growth!

I’ve been using the device on my facial hair for a good month, and I’ve noticed a drastic difference in how little hair grows back! I’m happy that Nordstrom sells the product so I can start buying for friends! Really does market as a painless option and I do agree. Even at the HIGHEST setting, this product “hurts” 10x less than getting my eyebrows threaded!

Burns everywhere

I heard home laser treatments only work if there's a big contrast between your skin and hair color, so when I saw I fit the recommended range, I was excited to try. Unfortunately, this product didn’t work. My legs burned badly (photo shows the burns after two weeks of treatment), and the heat stimulated hair growth in follicles that were peach fuzz, leaving me hairier than before. I’ve had professional laser treatments before and thought this would be good for maintenance sessions, but it’s been a huge disappointment.

Don't do it. Not trustworthy...

I received a used return item previously bought. Returning immediately absolutely unexpectable will never shop at Nordstrom's again. Something so personal.... Disgusted and Repulsed.....

Really Works！

consistent use , it works

I suggest using the Ulike device every time after you shower. I have mine ready on the bathroom counter and use on dried skin. Use it 3-4x per week for the first two weeks, then gradually reduce to 2x a week to once per week. I have dark hair and light-medium skin tone. The facial hair grows back in patches now and very slowly. Hair on legs only treat once per month, as maintenance as they remain smooth. Underarm hair does not grow but I still use it as a preventative measure. I use the “Fast” setting where the device fires twice and lift and overlap on face. For body I also use the “Fast”setting but simply glide very slowly as it fires twice in bursts constantly. It does indeed work . It’s not permanent and requires upkeep , now I use it only once per month. Note, laser hair removal is also NOT permanent and requires upkeep and subsequent sessions. Electrolysis is painful and a long time consuming, expensive process. Yes been there, done all that. My favorite, easiest and effective method is the Ulike. Lastly, yes I recommend the device, it will not work on naturally light hair, there does need to be contrast between color of hair and skin. I write this review after a full 6 months of use according to directions.

used product

This box came completely wrapped in plastic and looked new but when I opened the box a different product was in it. A different brand of IPL that had clearly been used. How does this even happen? Gross.
