Great slim fit - took a full size larger

Agree with other reviewers that this style runs small. I take a 7 in "regular" Uggs, a 7 or 7.5 in dress shoes depending on brand, and the 8 is a perfect fit for the Kara when wearing medium weight socks. I held the Kara size 8 sole-to-sole with my "regular" Uggs size 7, and the two soles were nearly identical in length while the Kara is slightly slimmer and has more of an almond toe as opposed to the round toe of the "regular" Uggs. My calf circumference is currently 14.25" at widest point, and these just fit over skinny jeans for me. Although the description indicates a calf of 14" this may be slightly misleading as the boot is short enough to hit *below* the widest part of the calf for many ladies (I'm 5'4 with relatively short legs for my height, and the boot reached just a hair below the widest part of my own calf.) So the shaft is narrow, but it also doesn't need to accommodate the widest part of the leg.

Stick to classic or bailey triplet

I own several pairs of Uggs.. The Bailey, cardy's, classic etc. I was so excited when these came out. I usually wear a 7 in uggs but in these I went with my regular 8.5 size as recommended. Anyway, the right was tight and the left was loose. However, that didn't matter because I knew I was returning them. The sole is just too narrow with the footbed. I have an average width and these made me feel like I could twist my ankle... This coming from a person that wears 4" wedges with no problems. Plus, the sole was ugly looking from the side, clumpy looking. There is also a 1" back wide seem in the back of the boots which is ugly too. These are very narrow... I'm sticking to the UGG Bailey or the classic. My favorite is still the Cardy and the Bailey triplet. I don't care if Kendall Jenner wears these, she must have a super narrow foot!!!! These are going back in the morning.

Better in the Shorter Version

While I absolutely LOVE this updated UGG in its shorter version (the "Amie," I think it's called), I wasn't a fan of these boots when they arrived. The wedge and the slimmer shape are both wonderful additions, but in the taller boot, the lack of stiffness to the material allowed the boot to sort of crumple on the leg, creating an unlovely, wrinkled look that ultimately convinced me to return these.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I am not a fan of the classic Uggs (sorry), they look to bulky & slouchy for my taste and have no foot support. BUT these new 'slim' boots are so comfortable thanks to the 1.5" heel that has arch support and I am loving the slimmer, un-bulky look of the boot. Very stylish and classy but you still feel like you are wearing slippers all day! I will definitely be buying them in the chestnut color as well. The black is a 2-toned color, the bottom part is darker & the top portion of the boot is more of a faded black but it still looks nice. If you do not like the look of the regular Ugg than try this one, you will not be disappointed! I wear a 6.5 but purchased a 7 in this boot as they are a little snug due to being 'slim' and I can wear a sock without feeling to tight.

Kara - Classic Slim Boot in Grey

These boots are not wide and bulky like the traditional ugg boot. They are comfortable and stylish! They run true to size if you are not planning to wear socks. The top of the boot near the toe area is molded/more structured without a lot of give. Although, I think over time it will give a little. I typically wear an 8.5. I ordered an 8.5 and a 9 but kept the 8.5. They are a little snug but I think they will be fine once the lining flattens. Since they boots are a new style, I would definitely recommend trying a few different sizes on in order to get the best fit.

You'll never want to take these off!

I'm in love with these boots! I have not had a pair Uggs in awhile and was very intrigued by the new style. I usually wear a 9 in Uggs but the 10 in this slimmer style was perfect. They are more comfortable and overall have a better look than the original style, you can't go wrong!
