Ansley Water Resistant Slipper (Women)

It’s been a week, and I’ve already fallen in love. I slip them on as soon as I wake up or come home- they are that comfortable. I tried on all the Ugg slippers at Nordstrom’s and these were by far the most comfortable, and most flattering. These were the only ones that had cushioning in the soles; the others were hard as a rock, but more trendy. They were super snug when I tried my size on at the store, but having had Ugg’s shoes, I knew they would stretch. Within a day of wearing them, they already started to stretch and conform to my feet, so don’t size up or they will slip off!

So I wear ugg boots in a size 7, while I was reading the reviews of this ugg slipper, I read that they run small so I went with an 8, they were big and falling off my heel, I decided to go with the 7 and they are perfect, they run really snug at first but don't worry about that because they will stretch and the fur will go down a bit. Go with what you normally wear in ugg boots and go smaller than what you normally wear in your daily shoes (if you've never owned uggs) I wear 8s in sneakers and flats. I went a whole size down for uggs. I love the chestnut color!

When I say I'm obsessed with these slippers, I really mean obsessed. This is my 2nd pair. The fuzz on the last pair I purchased a few years ago is worn away because I wear these so much. Especially now that we're home 24/7 during COVID. These make a fantastic gift. I am usually a size 7 1/2 and I got these in an 8 and they are tight but I decided to keep them anyway and they have stretched over the past week once the thick fur has a chance to settle and compact. You don't want them floppy on your feet. You can see from the photo I attached how much I wore my last pair. I also want to add that the bottom sole is very thick and padded - it could stand as an outdoor shoe its so nicely made. It provides a lot of support and cushion on the foot so it's not flimsy like most slippers.

I bought these because, hello, I never leave my house anymore so I hardly wear shoes but it’s getting colder. They’re incredibly comfortable. I think the fit is true to size, maybe a tiny bit small. I’m 7.5-8 and I got size 8 and they are comfortably snug with the fluff of the lining and they are the perfect length. The suede, especially with the water resistant treatment, feels tough and like it will hold up really well. I wear these while I’m cooking and the suede treatment helps them be a bit more stain resistant when I drop things on them. I love that these have a sturdy sole for running outside (take out the trash, grab takeout etc). The color was a bit more brown than tan on the “Chestnut” color but I really like it. I’m very pleased.
