Italian jewelry designer Bea Bongiasca draws inspiration from her passion for pop culture, contemporary art and design, as well as her love of everything colorful. Classic gold is often joyfully submerged in bright enamel hues uncommon in fine jewelry, an unexpected combination that lends her pieces kinetic movement and a bold look. For Bongiasca, jewelry is an art form—a concept pivotal to her design process, and one that results in a spirited, nontraditional take on jewelry that doesn't compromise on quality. Each piece, at once playful and intricate, functions as a miniature fantasy world for wearers to immerse themselves and escape reality, if only for a minute. Bongiasca graduated with honors in jewelry design at Central Saint Martins in London in 2013, the same year she founded her brand and studio in Milan.
